While working on tissue oxygen imaging project we have encountered a need for a simple, robust, and low cost device for scanning spatial distribution of pO2 in phantom objects or for in-vivo experiments. Using the aid of MN-Drive program and the Institue of Engineering in Medicine (IEM) at the University of Minnesota, we have developed a new technology for optical scanning of tissue oxygen along a single line.
This technology is currently being further developed and commercialized for applications in research by A-Scan , a Minnesota based startup company.
